This antique claw footed dining chair rich in history and character was given a new life as an artist chair. This stunning one-of-a-kind piece is 1 of 6 matching chairs given to different artist in my area from my local Dixie belle Paint retailer. The opportunity for to each of us was to refinish our chair however we felt best expressed our individual style and technique. The goal being to have fun with Dixie Belle Paint products and create something new out of something old. For my design theme I choose to go bright and bold with a smooth ombre blend of Limeade, Antebellum Blue and then accented with gold gilding wax from the Dixie Belle Paint line.
Once all of the chairs were completed, we each had the opportunity to display our artist chair at the shop alongside the Dixie Belle Paint displays. This chair has been on display for the entire summer is now available for you to share in the love and bring her home.
The chair has been completely stripped down, reinforced and refinished to live it new life and withstand another 100 years as a beautiful accent chair in your home, office or retail setting. The seat cushion has been completely replaced with new foam and recovered with a suede finish 100% pure hide leather that is soft to the touch and strong enough to last for years of regular use.
This is a one-of-a-kind, functional art piece that has been hand made by Skye By Design Studios. I can guarantee you will never see another like it.

Furniture pieces will be covered by insurance if it is available dependent upon the carrier company.
